At the anchor market site of a nice neighborhood, I operate a minimart. I make sure that my minimart stands out by selling only well-performing goods from established manufacturers. In fact, I am just as fussy when I am the one doing the buying.

I always knew that being the owner of a high-end grocery store can put me in harm’s way. That is why I shop for self defense products. I opt to buy pepper spray because it is consistently effective.

One evening, as I was billing the purchases of the last lot of customers and about to close shop, a rowdy man entered. I tried not to think ill of him as I believe anyone should be able to come inside a grocery store.

After the last shoppers were gone, the man came at me, as I was seated at the counter, and insisted to have the day’s earnings while waving his pistol. I obliged nervously.

Seeing that he was distracted by swiping my cash, I reached for the pepper spray recently delivered. I had put it in my cash drawer absentmindedly. I had never felt more thankful that my move to buy pepper spray was fortunately timed.

The thief fled hurriedly, wailing from hurting, after I dispersed the pepper spray onto his eyes. I went on to enjoin the area’s shop operators to buy pepper spray in order to stay protected.
