Designers Demonstrate 6 Red Collection

Two moment of celebration will fall on February 14, 2010. New Year’s Day and Valentine’s Day. Six local designers joined in the boutique style of The Designers Corner Plaza Indonesia demonstrates that fashion red creation on Wednesday (3/2/2010). In the show titled Fashion In Red, Agnes Budhisurya, Aarti, Ina Thomas, Jan. Hendrianto, M by Moses, and exhibit design Ghea Panggabean.
“This event is a series of offerings from Plaza Indonesia Shopping Center in 2010 welcomed the Lunar New Year celebration. It is expected that these fashion shows can be an inspiration for fashion lovers in Jakarta,” said Chorie Arland, Marketing Communication Manager of Plaza Indonesia Shopping Center.
On that day, Ina Thomas brought a red tone that blends with traditional Balinese motifs. Ina pin accessories brass bronze shades to give the impression sexy, elegant, and glamorous for a luxurious impression. As his trademark, Ina suggests a memorable collection of sections through the fabric made from chiffon wave.
Jan Hadrianto took inspiration in the beauty of spring flowers.He called the collection La Vie En Rose. Use of taffeta, tulle, Organdi, and duchess dressing to impress a woman’s body romantic and beautiful. While M by Moses offers a collection with the theme of the Orient Lady. He emphasizes the impression of Chinese contemporary look with a unique blend of traditional elements and pieces of contemporary China. Contemporary elements such as rope cord, glass stones, buttons shanghai, velvet, lace, Jacquard material to enrich the cultural impression of China’s traditional dress in red thick and crafts techniques.
While one of the famous Indonesian designer, Ghea Panggabean Shawl theme of Padang, which is inspired from the cultures of Padang and China. Traditional motifs embroidered scarves Padang applied with a piece of gold as a loose blouse, tunics, and evening gowns, including cheongsam. He named the Indo-Chinoiserie collection.
Agnes brings a collection of romantic red color combined with black, pink, and purple.
